CCN stands for Carrier Comfort Network, A proprietary communicating protocol used by Carrier Corp. Almost every chiller that Carrier sells today has CCN built in. If your Automation system needs to access the running data on a Carrier chiller, they will need a gateway to convert that data from CCN. Carrier has some gateway options, for example: 33cntran485; sim; ivu, but all of these are expensive and hard to configure.
